Alexandra Maria Lara (born in Romania) is born in Romania and is a Romanian TV presenter and actress. Her most well-known work is the main character in Rush, Downfall Youth Without Youth Control and Rush. Alexandra was the sole daughter of Romanian actor Valentin Platareu. at the age of 16she already obtained a few television appearances, such as the lead role in the film Downfall Youth without Youth Control. They praised her part in Der Tunnel. This paved the way for other unforgettable performances, like Adolf Hitler's Secretariat Traudl Junge. The Reader, Der Baader Meinhof Komplex as well as The Reader are also Oscar-nominated movies featuring this actress. Alexandra is involved in many notable projects, both nationally and internationally. They include The British biographical film Control Greek Drama film The Dust of Time and as French historic Miniseries Napoleon. Additionally, she was an active member of the Cannes Film Festival jury and Transylvania International Film Festival.
