Amal Clooney

Amal Clooney (born Amal Ramzi alamuddin) is a Lebanese/British lawyer, human rights activist, and charitable philanthropist. A graduate of Oxford University and New York University School of Law her lengthy and successful professional career in the field of international law and human rights has earned her acclaim internationally. The clients she has worked with have been numerous nation states, including the state of Armenia fighting for recognition of the Armenian Genocide by the Turkish government. Amal Clooney got engaged in 2014 and later married American actor George Clooney. She instantly became a household word.
