Christina Hendricks

Christina Hendricks was an American actor, most famous for her portrayal of Joan Holloway. She played the role in seven seasons on AMC's time-travel dramatic Mad Men from 2007-2015. The show received wide acclaim from critics in the series and received nominations for six Emmy Awards in the category of the most outstanding supporting actress. Her professional career, which spans more than two decades, has seen her appear in the comedy crime drama Tin Star as well as Kevin Hill's legal drama. In the film industry, for her performance her name has been praised for Drive Ginger & Rosa Lost River Neon Demon Strangers: Prey in the Night Egg as well as American Woman. She has also recorded her voice on animations such as From Up on Poppy Hill Toy Story 4 or Scoob! The career she began with was modeling and she continued it through the years, until her first appearance acting on television with Undressed, a 1999 television show. Her first big role was in the comedy drama series Beggars and Choosers following which was also recognized for her performance in the hit show Firefly. Esquire magazine voted her as the most beautiful woman in America and also the beautiful woman on the planet in the year 2010.
